Dianne Porchia chose the conscious path of holistic health and healing following the ending of a 16 year marriage. Her journey started with the physical body, becoming certified in various types of therapeutic touch, massage, Jin Shin Acupressure and cranio-sacral therapies. She soon became aware of the emotional, mental and spiritual connection to health and wellness, inspiring her to obtain a Master's Degree in Spiritual Psychology from (USM), and to become further informed by neuro-linguistic programming (NLP, and the "new" psychologies of somatic, sensori-motor and experiential dynamic techniques.
Porchia's additional background in dance, yoga, body movement, a bachelor's degree in fine art and her natural inspiring vitality all serve to round her integrated "whole person" approach to implementing practical solutions for daily conscious living.
Porchia's W.I.S.H. - Whole Integrated Self Health, Guide to Healing, Loving & Living Consciously was the master's degree project and culmination of her education, training and background and serves as the foundation for all her integrated "holistic" body-mind-heart-soul work, including, Commitment To Love , Passing Performance and Topanga Retreat Facilitation.
PASSING PERFORMANCE™, stress reduction training for adults and teens provides the same holistic solutions for working professionals, adult and teenage students looking to optimize their performance.
As a Healing Activist, she teaches and cultivates a healthy body, joyful heart, grateful mind and uplifted spirit that inspires positive change in one Self, one's family, friends, work place, community, nations and the world, living in right relation to our Earth, respecting the Cosmos and changing our collective consciousness from greed, separation and fear to collaboration, unity and love.
In addition, Porchia is very involved in her community. In 2007, she spearheaded and chaired the annual fund raiser Topanga Nights, outdoor picnic, music and movies under the stars where families, friends, neighbors and visitors to the canyon come together for fun and socializing during the warm summer nights in a unique mountain setting. This fund raising event benefits the Topanga Community Club (TCC), a non-profit organization, which provides philanthropic, educational and social services to the Topanga community.
From 1996 - 1999, Porchia worked with Starlight Children's Foundation and Free Arts For Abused Children for which she chaired the Annual Cindy Landon Membership events.
